Anne Riggle, President, International Asset Group, LLC

In her previous life, Anne Riggle worked in the financial services field, having graduated from the College of Notre Dame in 1976. She began real estate investment in 1982, and it can be said she is somewhat responsible for the growth of Canton and Highlandtown. Anne enjoys mentoring entrepreneurial women and is a member of Network 2000 as well as a board member of many other non-profit organizations. Ms. Riggle has received numerous awards and honors and was voted one of Maryland's Top 100 Women by the Daily Record.

Destiny Brown, Founder, The Law Offices of Destiny Brown, LLC

Formerly a stock broker and financial planner, Ms. Brown obtained her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in 1988 and was accepted to the University of Baltimore School of Law, receiving a J.D. in 1996. Her legal education continued and she completed an L.L.M. in Taxation. Ms. Brown's firm is a civil practice firm that concentrates in estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate, and real estate.

Deborah Kerker Herman, ESQ

Ms. Herman received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and her juris doctorate from the University at Buffalo, School of Law, where she was elected editor of the Buffalo Law Review. A native New Yorker, Ms Herman practiced law for ten years, with a specialty in labor and employment law. Her family relocated to Maryland in 2000. Her husband, an avid real estate investor, encouraged her to participate in WIRE. Ms Herman is currently chief reporter for the Daily Record and is a devoted mom to 5 year old Max and two year old Julia.

In 2005, Debbie joined The Catholic University, Columbus School of Law’s Office of Legal Career Service as a Career Advisor to law students and alumni.

Kathy Jarmiolowski, Law Office of Kathleen Jarmiolowski, LLC

Ms. Jarmiolowski is a graduate of University of Texas, Johns Hopkins University and University of Baltimore with areas of practice in business & corporate law, real estate, intellectual property, and telecommunications. She has worked with the US Department of Commerce on issues relating to electronic signatures and telecom deregulations, and copyright protection. Ms. Jarmiolowski is currently serving as Subcommittee Chair for ABA/IPG Enforcement of Trademarks Online and recently spoke to WEB, Women Entreprenuers of Baltimore, and his married and resides in Mt.Vernon.

Lorraine Jacobs, Vice President of Chase Street Properties

Ms. Jacobs is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park School of Business and has worked in direct face-to-face sales and marketing for over 21 years. She believes in branding herself and her product in efforts of promoting her services. Having started out in hotel sales, then after seeing a pattern of corporate clients renting condominiums and apartments, she worked with Trammel Crow Company, Oakwood International and Exclusive Interim Properties over 12 years helping clients who were moving into the Maryland area or on temporary job assignments.

Eventually joining the advertising team at the Baltimore Business Journal, she became one of the top salespeople and after 6 years was offered the opportunity to become a business partner with Chase Street Properties, providing short and long term furnished accommodations to traveling and relocating executives in Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

On a personal note, Ms. Jacobs lives with her two dogs in Howard County and enjoys hiking, movies and dinner parties. She is also known as the "Networking Queen" in many business circles, and is looking forward to learn from WIRE comrades but also to help WIRE grow.

Liz Robinson
Legal Advisor: Demetra Stewart

Ms. Stewart migrated from Louisiana to Washington, DC where she attended college at Howard University. After spending several years working as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, she attended American University/Washington College of Law where she received her J.D. in 2003. Currently Ms. Stewart works in the field of Intellectual Property, with a focus on Patent Law, with a firm in Falls Church, VA. She is happily married and invests in real estate with her husband, Troy, and loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as reading, watching movies and traveling. Ms. Stewart has attended all the WIRE© Baltimore meetings and special events. She is an active and positive member and has offered legal insight at the meetings. For these reasons she was one of the first members chosen to the WIRE© DC Metro Advisory Board.
